‘Paripadal Mudhal Bharati Varai’ is an ambitious project that Dr. Padma Subrahmanyam has conceived to present at least one spoonful of the ocean of Tamil literary heritage of 2000 years. This is one more venture to quench her literary thirst and give vent to her own study of Tamil. This programme tries to capture the gems that were produced by some of the greatest of Tamil poets. Subjects and emotions portrayed are quite kaleidoscopic in nature, thus giving a vast scope for Dr. Padma to transform ‘Iyal Tamizh’ into ‘Isai and Nataka Tamizh’.
